Kreppel, Berliner, Krapfen – wie auch immer ihr sie nennt – wenn dieses leckere Süßgebäck ein paar Tage zu lange gelegen hat und trocken wird, schmecken sie einfach nicht mehr so lecker frisch und fluffig. Ihr müsst sie aber nicht entsorgen sondern macht doch einfach ein leckeres Dessert daraus.
Kennt ihr “Arme Ritter”? So ähnlich machen wir das jetzt mit den Kreppeln. Noch ein paar karamellisierte Äpfel dazu, Mandelblättchen darüber und schon können wir es uns schmecken lassen.
Ihr braucht für 4 Portionen:
- 4 Kreppel
- 4 Äpfel
- Butter für die Pfanne
- 50 g Mandelblättchen
- Zucker
- Milch
Butter in eine Pfanne geben und erhitzen. Gebt Milch in einen tiefen Teller oder eine Schale. Schneidet eure Kreppel in Stücke und legt sie in die Milch ein. Wenden und von beiden Seiten die Milch einziehen lassen.
Wenn die Pfanne schön heiß ist, gebt die Kreppel zum Braten hinein.
Wenden und von beiden Seiten goldbraun backen.
In einer anderen Pfanne ein bisschen Butter erhitzen. Die Äpfel in kleine Stücke schneiden und in die Pfanne geben. Zucker dazu geben und unter ständigem rühren karamellisieren. Die Äpfel aus der Pfanne nehmen und die Mandelblättchen in der Pfanne geben. Rühren und in der leeren Pfanne etwas anrösten.
Nun könnt ihr pro Portion ca. 3 gebackenen Kreppelstücke auf einen Teller geben, Äpfel dazu und die Mandelblättchen darüber streuen.
Zusammen mit den fruchtigen Äpfeln und den Mandelblättchen habt ihr so in leckeres Dessert aus trockenen Kreppeln gemacht.
Aufgepimt und einfach noch leckerer gemacht!
